The Autumnal Captain

I am slowly becoming infatuated witht this captain. Edarricus. Autumnal Captain Edarricus. Ed, for short. But what is it that makes him so interesting? Maybe it's how he keeps a lot of things secret, like his age or his profession. He'd most likely answer me if I asked him, but despite my bravery, I'm too afraid to ask. He looks between sixteen and nineteen, but I have no clue about his age, and the way he acts, the way he talks and his interests make him seem much older than what he looks like. On every site he's registered in he says he's 111 years old. Maybe the reason I don't want to ask is that I don't want to break the magic that makes him so attractive and misterious.
He owns a facebook page, called "Autumnal Capn' Edarricus Lustro "Sepia" Cudries". What is a cudrie anyway? It sounds familiar, but I have no idea of what is means. Maybe it's just his name? That's probable. I mean, I recently added him as a friend on the blue social network, and he calls himself like that, so it's highly likely that "Cudries" might be his last name.
Something particular about him is also his love for hats. He collects them, although I don't know how long he's been at it. It seems like he's been collecting those head accessories for years, but once again, I am left clueless. He currently owns fifteen hats, fifteen beautiful hats. Fifteen and still incoming. No... they're more than that... Will he ever finish that collection? I really like his hats, it'd be sad if he just stopped collecting them. According to his list, he's not even close to completing his headwear collection.
Ed has many fans across the world, yet I still can't understand why he has so many of them. Is it because he collects hats? The amount of fans he has is ridiculous compared to the amount of his hats. He has a lot of fanart. Perhaps his popularity is caused by his handsomeness and his partial coldness due to his demisexuality? That was possible. Or was it because he won a literary deviantArt contest? Any of those possibilities could be true. He never could really answer me about that, either.
Lately he's been pushing me to make him fanart, too, but I guess I've been too busy to do it. Or maybe I just don't want to be a stepping stone for his popularity. I've seen a couple of fanart drawings that are better than what I could draw. I think that I'm only afraid that he might end our friendship if I make him that picture; afraid that if I draw it he'd say: "Oh well. I have the drawing now. I don't need you anymore. Thanks, bye bye." I don't know if he'd really do that or not, but I don't know him well enough to judge that. I guess I'l wait until I know him better before I do it...
He's also extremely handsome. I would say "hot", but he's too romantic to be called that. He has beautiful curly and fluffy hair that fits all of his hats perfectly, and enchanting dark eyes. And his face.. it's angelic. What if he really is an angel? I guess that could explain his demisexuality (I've always thought that angels were pretty asexual... juding by what religious texts say and how Supernatural's Castiel is). Not that there's anything wrong with demisexuality. I'm extremely open to various sexualities. Except paedophilism, necrophilism, zoophilism and similar things. But those aren't sexual preferences, those are fetishes and they're something completely different. I have a couple of gay friends, two bi/lesbian friends and I guess that I have a demisexual friend, now.
I haven't known Ed for a long time at all. I met him... what? Two weeks ago? It was on the Board game online plug.dj. We would fight all the time due to our completely different opinions, back then. A few days later however we started agreeing more often, mostly non-music related topics, though. Except celtic music and Tenacious D. Then... out of the blue he gave me his facebook page and... I got curious. We chatted with pleasure more often and had delightful conversations. He's such a fun fellow.
He posted new pictures on his dA account recently announcing the beginning of Autumn (obviously his favourite season, since he's the "Autumnal Captain"). One of them was the picture the first fallen leaf of the season, the second was a picture of a pair of brown leather shoes with some waterdrops on them.
I've seen the list of his hats, the ones he owns and the ones he's missing. He's got an interesting taste, and the ones he has are really beautiful. I'd really like to see those hats in real life someday, but I don't think that would ever be possible. I've been contemplating wether to buy and give him a hat or not, but I guess I should get to know him better first.
I shouldn't get too into this. I mean, I already have a big distance relationship with my boyfriend, with him living in France and I living in Italy. But Ed lives in Sweden, it would be much worse. Especially now that I finally got permission from my lover to go out with other people in the meantime, since we get to see each other only once or twice a year... But that doesn't mean that Ed and I can't be friends. Besides, I don't particularily want a romantic relationship with him. We're friends. I mean, I like how it is now. I love my boyfriend, I don't want to betray him. I like Ed, but not in a red way.
Well, c'est la vie.
Me and Ed are friends, and it's good this way. I'm happier with things like this, and despite our differences in almost everything, I'm glad with the way things are. I really like and want to remain friends with the cherry loving Autumnal Captain Edarricus.
